Every year around this time Comic book shops nation wide give away free comics. Not just any comics. Special comics printed just for this event.
It's the perfect day to stop by your local comic shop and bring a friend.
Download a pdf and hang some posters up around town or just in your office break room.

INDY INVASION!!
We had a tremendous time at the Heroes Convention in Charlotte NC. Met tons of amazingly talented and unbelievably funny people. Sold a lot of Wide Awake Press Stuff and spent it all on comics. Fun, fun, fun and more fun! I'll post some pictures soon. With info on what goodies I found.

Wow! I had a really unbelievable time at Spoleto this weekend. We saw The Have Nots and Chicago's Second City. Unbelievably funny mix of improv and sketch comedy.
Of course I had to make a trip to one of the best comic shops in South Carolina, Atomic Comics. Great selection of independent comics and all sorts of pop culture goodies right in the heart of downtown, across from the American Theatre.
But one of the must see events was the One Man Star Wars Trilogy. In a little over an hour Charles Ross flies thru all of the original Star Wars movies. Complete with impersonations, sound effects and music. All done with an unbelievable level of energy that will leave you exhausted with laughter.
