MoCCA was a really great, super fun show that kept me glued to the AdHouse Books table the whole time. My buddy Andy Runton stole the award for best new artists and I grab a couple of things. Also took some shots but most of them are Rob Ullmans. Check them out right here.

Join Indie Island studs J. Chris Campbell, James Kochalka, Jim Mahfood, Andy Runton, Ben Towle, Rob Ullman, and Alternative Comics publisher and panel moderator Jeff Mason, for a panel on studly mini-comics! Everything from the making of, content of, and coolness of mini-comics, with some real experts in the field! With this group of pro's, it's sure to be a pretty entertaining time for all of you who attend--I suggest you come early!

Free Comic Book Day was super fun. Thanks to Planet Comics in Anderson and Borderlands in Greenville for having me stop in.

Planet comics gave everyone a free Superior with thier choices of FCBD titles. I think I signed around 60 of them before I had to scat back to Greenville.


They didn't use a stamp on the comics, so the little white square was perfect for sigs and shaky Apple Dumpler logo drawings.


Between bursts of people I was able to check out the 50 cent boxes of comics with some little guy that always seems to be around lately.

The folks over at Adhouse Books had so much fun with Project: Superior they decided to start a whole new series of it.

The best part is the first issue will be FREE! It's actually issue zero, but it's still the first one available. It's a part of Free Comic Book Day on May 7.
It will feature an all new 10 page Apple Dumpler story that is sure to amaze and thrill.
